Birthday Parties at the Y
Birthday parties are fun and easy when you have them at the YMCA! At the Monroe County Y, we have a perfect birthday experience for everyone. All birthday parties are held at our Northwest branch and include trained staff supervision and a party room. We have a variety of party options based on age and interest—we'd love to help plan your child's special day!

Classic Party
Collapsible
Classic Parties include a room and party supplies for up to 35 attendees (including children and adults). Your party room will be in our Annex and will include up to one hour of activity time from 12:00-1:00 pm or 2:00-3:00 pm (unless you select a Standard Party). Rates are $200 for members and $230 for non-members.
Included with your birthday party reservation:
- Use of Y party room
- Table for food and drinks
- 3 tables with 8 chairs each
- 11 chairs along back wall for extra seating
- 1 birthday child chair by presents table
- A party specialist who takes care of set up and clean up
- Solid-colored tablecloths, plates, cups, napkins, and forks
- A banner displaying the birthday child’s name

Party Options:
- Standard Party (ages 3-14)
- 2 hours in our party room
- Your choice of activities provided and facilitated by you in the room
- Swim Party (ages 3-14)
- 2 hours access to our party room
- 1 hour of swim time in our pool's splash pad and teaching well area from 12:00-1:00 pm or 2:00-3:00 pm, depending on time of party
- We strongly encourage adults to swim as well if there are more than 10 children in the pool.
- Your party swim time will take place during our regular open swim hours. Pool will be shared with other Y participants.
- Sports Party (ages 3-14)
- 2 hours access to our party room
- 1 hour of customized games/activities based on your child’s interests facilitated by your party specialist in one half of our gym from 12:00-1:00 pm or 2:00-3:00 pm, depending on time of party
- Games and activities include basketball, dodgeball, flag football, volleyball, tag-type games, soccer, baseball or whiffle ball, free play, or stations
- Games and activities include basketball, dodgeball, flag football, volleyball, tag-type games, soccer, baseball or whiffle ball, free play, or stations
- Preschool Play and Party (ages 3-7)
- 2 hours access to our party room
- 1 hour in our Play and Learn Big Kid Room, which includes access to all toys and supplies in the space, from 12:00-1:00 pm or 2:00-3:00 pm, depending on time of party
Parents/guardians can arrive for set up 30 minutes before the start of the party. There is an additional $30 fee (per child) if there is more than one birthday child. As a reminder, classic parties accommodate up to 35 total attendees. If attendance goes over this amount of guests, extra guests will be asked to leave. The YMCA reserves the right to cancel your party without a refund if more than 35 people show up and refuse to leave.

Super Party

Super parties include a room and party supplies for 36-60 attendees (including children and adults) with two hours of party time. Your party room will be in our Annex Barre Studio and will include up to one hour of activity time from 3:00-4:00 pm (unless you select a Standard Party). Rates are $250 for members and $280 for non-members.

- Use of Y party room
- Table for food and drinks
- 6 tables with 8 chairs each
- 11 chairs along back wall for extra seating
- 1 birthday child chair by presents table
- A party specialist who takes care of set up and clean up
