Updates to The Zone and Play and Learn
To reflect the changing needs of our community, our Southeast Y Play and Learn and The Zone programs have modified hours in 2025. Our goal is to continue providing a high-quality experience for all our members, and this change will help us better allocate our resources and staff.
Due to low weekday attendance from 2024-2025, our Southeast Y hours for The Zone, a child watch program for kids ages 7-12, will be limited to Saturdays from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm starting on March 16, 2025. The Zone hours at our Northwest Y remain unchanged.
Our Southeast Y’s Play and Learn, a child watch program for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, has extended its hours in the evenings, Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Our Northwest Y's Play and Learn hours have also been extended.
All child watch hours at both Monroe County YMCA branches are as follows:
