Thank You for Helping Us in 2020 by Keeping an Active Membership
We needed all hands-on deck in 2020. Members who continued to pay their monthly membership dues were our Sustaining Members—because they helped us be resilient during this chaotic time. No action was required to become a Sustaining Member. A Sustaining Member was any member of the Y who continued to pay their monthly membership dues while we were closed in 2020 due to COVID-19. We can’t thank you enough for your support!
As a thank you for maintaining an active membership, we offered the following program credits depending on your membership type:
- $50 for individual memberships
- $75 for memberships with multiple individuals
This credit could have been used for programs, such as Group Exercise Classes, camps, Swim Lessons, and others. All credits had to be redeemed at one of our Welcome Centers by December 31, 2020.
We’re in this Together
Thank you for working with us to create history that demonstrates how we came together and served those who needed us the most. Let us tell the story of the meaningful ways in which we responded. Let that be the story that is remembered. We have the opportunity, right now, to decide what the future looks like. We want a future of generosity, social justice, and equal access to critical resources. We are learning a lot in real time, and we’re adapting.
Most importantly, this is not forever. We’re standing by you during this difficult time and ask that you stand by us as well. There’s a bright future ahead, but the only way we get there is together.
Community Response and Support
We’re continuing to serve our community resource partners in an effort to support those affected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In times like these, it’s critical that we work together as a community to lift those most impacted by health and economic challenges.
