We understand that military families are under enormous strain and that military life comes with unique challenges. Deployments and frequent moves can be a stressful and uncertain time for our nation’s service members and their families.
In partnership with the Armed Services YMCA and the Department of Defense Military Outreach Initiative (MOI), the Monroe County Y is proud to offer a six-month paid-in-full membership to eligible military personnel (families of deployed National Guard and reserve service members, active-duty members assigned to independent duty locations, or unaccompanied spouses of active-duty personnel who are located remotely from an installation or military-provided fitness facility).
This program gives military families extra support and access to vital resources that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. It is another way of giving back to those who dedicate themselves to serving our country. For more information, please visit https://www.asymca.org/ymca-dod-military-outreach-initiative.
