Keep your spring fitness going strong throughout the summer and prepare for upcoming summer and fall events with the Monroe County YMCA Summer Endurance Training Program. This program is designed for individuals of all fitness levels—whether you are just getting started or continuing your walking, running, or cycling journey.

With a focus on consistency, gradual progression, and efficient movement, participants will build endurance in a supportive and motivating group environment. Training alongside others provides accountability, safety, and camaraderie—helping you achieve more than you might on your own. All levels of experience are welcome, beginners included. No one gets left behind!

What to expect:

  • Structured group training sessions
  • Walking and running workouts
  • Optional outdoor road bike rides on Saturdays
  • Supportive, inclusive environment for all fitness levels
  • Focus on endurance, efficiency, and injury prevention

    The Monroe County YMCA Endurance Training Group includes the cross-training aspects of swimming instruction and cycling . Program rates are $85 per Y member or $250 per non-member.

    Start time may shift to 7:00 am as temperatures increase.
