Run for Fun Youth Running Group
The Southeast Y Youth Running Group will teach children the importance of stretching, a good warm up, pacing, hydration, and a good cool down. The emphasis will be on personal goal-setting and FUN fitness! This group will be training to run the YMCA Spring Run. The cost of the program will cover admission into the run as well as a t-shirt.
Instructors will run the 5K with the youth participants. The program will begin on February 25 and end on April 2, with the YMCA Spring Run taking place April 4. There will not be any practices the week of March 16-20. Please meet in the Program Room at the Southeast Y.
