Volunteer at the Monroe County YMCA
At the YMCA, your time and talent go a long way..... Volunteering is, and always has been, integral to the YMCA movement. YMCAs embrace volunteers in many ways, and volunteers who give their time, talents, and treasure to the YMCA find immense personal gratification in addition to serving others through building strong kids, families, and communities. There are two basic ways to volunteer at the YMCA, Policy Volunteers and Program Volunteers Policy Volunteers serve on the YMCAs Board of Directors or one of our many Committees. Program volunteers assist the YMCA staff with all of our events, activities, classes, and membership functions. If you have a skill or a passion, chances are we can put it to good use at the Y! You can then expect a call from someone on staff to discuss your specific area(s) of interest and your possible volunteer work schedule.
