What is Corporate Challenge? The Monroe County YMCA offers Corporate Challenge for the businesses and organizations of Monroe and surrounding counties. Corporate Challenge is a major fundraising event for the Monroe County YMCA's Partner With Youth Scholarship Fund.
Corporate Challenge offers a variety of events happening over an approximately four-week period during September and October. Some events are quite sporty, some events aren't so sporty - but one thing all events have in common is FUN! There is something for everyone to do!
Join in the fun with your co-workers, build team spirit and support a great cause by participating in Corporate Challenge.
New for 2010
New Teams – Welcome to our new competitors in 2010; Southern Indiana Pediatrics, City of Bloomington, Hoosier Energy and Technology Service Corporation (TSC).
CEO Boat Challenge Change – New for 2010 ... boats will now be timed going down and back in the pool! Start thinking of ways to build your boat to be fast AND buoyant for two lengths of the pool!
Champions Division – Since we have some strong teams in different size divisions, we will be starting an extra division for all those who have won their division the previous year. These teams will not only compete in their regularly sized division, but also against all other winners from the previous year for a grand prize and OVERALL CHAMPION of Corporate Challenge. A new and different prize then the traveling cups will be presented to this champion. This year the teams eligible for the Champions Division will be Boston Scientific, IMA, IU Credit Union, Old National Bank and First Capital Group.
