Adapted Programs

Questions?  Contact Kevin Thompson at 332-5555, ext 253.

The YMCA offers several programs for adults and children with special needs. All of our Adapted Programs have a goal to help the individual transition to a larger integrated community. Our goal is to include everyone with a special need, providing them with a rewarding experience. Participation in non-adapted programs is encouraged by the Y for people with special needs with/without the assistance of caregivers. The YMCA will continuously re-evaluate its programs and is open to new ideas and suggestions to ensure successful experiences for all.
